Last night it took us one and a half hours to get a group together, and two of the main people couldn't go because it's too late. It was in the calendar that we start 8 server. Do we need to rework the groups? Why are people not signing up? Do we need a G1 meeting and talk about it? I have to play late because of work and family. I can start at 8 server and can only play Mon,Tuse, and Thurs and sometimes on the weekend. Depends-Halo comes over to my house like every weekend to play from day to night cause at his house he can't play much. I know the group doesnt want to start that late they want to start at 6 or 7 server. We need to do something to fix this problem taking hours of our time to get into Kara is a waste of everyones time than not going that far. I think we should either rework the groups or have a meeting with G1 and see what's going on.
Alright, Darmanix and I have put down a little bit of a foundation for raiding in G1. This may effect the schedule of going on a nightly basis, and it's definitely not to be mean or strict or harsh, but it has to be. I want to raid too. Like everyone else 'complains', I don't need anything form Kara, but I go for the people who don't have gear. So a couple of basics:
1. Be on time. If you're not on time and ready for an invite by start time, you don't go. Period.
2. If you have to wait for a summon, and we can't summon you, and you don't walk, I'll take someone else to Kara who is willing to not be lazy,
3. If we don't have 10 people in the group calendar by the time we start, NO ONE GOES. I know signing up can be a pain, but I want to know what we're looking at for able players instead of spending an hour to look for someone else.
4. If you lag multiple time inside of Kara, DC, or go on an AFK spree. You WILL be kicked. I don't have time to sit around for 20 minutes waiting for you, nor does anyone else.
5. If you're not geared and meeting requirements, and I'll know by your performance, you get your as sback into some instances and get yourself geared.
6. If you complain about not going because we have priority players (necessary classes, mains, better players than yourself) I'd be more than happy to discuss you being /gkicked or never going to Kara. Some things are necessary, deal with it.
For right now this is what we've come up with to minimize downtime and to keep an effective group for Kara. It does seem strict and harsh and mean but it is necessary. A meeting with Tenath is definitely in order. That's all for now, message me in game if you have questions.
I've been checking the calendar G2 has times set up for the next week but the last couple of days we didn't post when where going next G1. If you can give us more than 24 hrs I can try to work some out to try to be there. I need the next 2 boss where on. Don't really want to miss them. But if I do it's not the end of the world.
So what's the plan? G1 is a no go and G2 seems to be doing okay. Seems like Im in the Dark... Should I start looking for a new group or wait it out a little... Everyone seems to want to go but know one but a few wants to put some commitment into it. Like signing up on the Calendar that should be mandatory. You should be at the meeting stone when the raid wants to start. Have all your stuff with you and repairs done. Sorry I'm just upset I wanted to go to Kara now for like ever I got a group and we never have luck.. I'm soon either looking for a new group or giving up on kara.
