What is the difference between pvp & pve. Now, let me tell you that I understand that pvp means player vs. player, and pve means player vs. environment. My question is, how do i know which is which? for example, doing quests (which i do a lot of)...would that be a pve thing? and maybe would doing instances and dungeons, that would be pve/pvp? and then for the pvp part, that would be like battlegrounds and arenas and straight up killing those stupid hordes for no reason??? (or in my case them killing me?)
I just cannot seem to grasp this concept. someone PLEASE dumb it down for me!
I am wanting to know for me spec'ing. Def. healing pally, but yeah, just want to play around a bit, and need to know this whole pvp vs pve thingy/concept. That way i know which tree i should spec into.
If you are being 100% serious or trolling I'll give you an answer. Quests where you kill mobs = PvE Quests where you kill horde = PvP Battlegrounds = PvP Alterec Valley = PvE race with occasional PvP Arena = PvP Dungeons = PvE Killing Horde or Horde Killing you = PvP
