I. Introduction
    a. Why a Resto Druid?
Very good question, Resto druids truly are just a fantastic healer when played a correctly.  They have the biggest top end heal in the game.  And are much more of a customizable healer than most healers.
    b.Pros/Cons
       Pros
Biggest Top End Heal in the game
          Healing Form
Easily able to keep tanks alive while stunned (compared to other healers)
HoTs... Lots and lots of Hots...
          High Desirability
          In Combat Rez
          Abolish Poison
          Decurse
       Cons
Inability to use Top End Heal in Healing Form
Inability to Abolish Poison and Decurse in Healing Form
Difficult Solo Healing as Full Resto(35+) in Heroics
Inability to be a main healer as Full Resto in a raid.
Forced to be spot healer in raids.
Healing Form horrible in small raid enviroments.
          Lack of base heals
          Perfectly Timing HoTs and Swiftmend
    c. Group Role
         Spot Healer
Rarely Main Healer (as full resto)
         Help Keep tanks topped off
Specializes in keeping dps alive through occasional hits
II. Resto Druid Make Up
    a. Stats
As a full resto druid Spirit is your number 1 stat, followed by mp5, as a spot healer you rarely get to take advantage of the FSR (five second rule).  Next you need +healing, that is pretty much all you need; unless you are specced HT spam (explained later), in that case you will need stats in this order: +healing, mp5, spell crit, and int.
     b. Equipment: As a Tree of Life druid, priest cloth is more than perfectly acceptable (due to the high spirit).  However HT Spam druids have a much harder time finding good gear (Primal Mooncloth is a definate best due to the high mp5).
     c. Proffesions: The only proffesions that benefit Resto Druids in general are Tailoring, and Alchemy.  Alchemy for the mp5 pots, and tailoring for primal mooncloth.
     d. Builds:
                    1. Full Resto Druid:

                    2. HT Spam Druid:

                   3. The Balance Healer:

                   1. The Spot Healing Build: Build that specializes in healing dps when they take the occasional blow, and provides aura for healing.  Cannot be a main healer successfully.
                  2. Main Healing Build: Build that specializes in spamming the Healing Touch Button, and lifebloom.  Downranking to rank 3-5 Healing Touch tends to be typical with this build as well as taking advantage of the FSR.  Alchemist Stone is highly recomended.
                 3. 5 Man Healing Build: A build for the casual player, decent at healing; and can easily solo.  Can heal in Karazhan but Alchemist Stone is a near MUST.  Do NOT go into heriocs with this build, you will give druids a bad name.

III. Misc Tips and tricks.

If you time Swiftmend perfectly you can get the final tick of a rejuv or regrowth and then still get the swiftmend off with the full heal try to do this as much as possible for the most mana effeciency use of swiftmend.

Avoid Stacking lifebloom till the last tick of it; and even then avoid stacking lifebloom it should only be used as a type of "oh ****" button, the stacking of lifebloom is just mana effecient.
