After much thought and discussion with Pink we came upon an idea. This idea really focuses on the progression of the guild and where we feel this guild is going in terms of raiding.
I know much of the group 1 karazhan is feeling like we need to move on progression wise. We have kara on farm save for Netherspite who is almost completely useless to us. The problem however is that we do not have the geared people to go further into raiding. The idea is that because group 1 is pretty much bored of karazhan we should mix up the groups so that group 2 and 3 can gear up quickly and we can move on towards Gruul, Mag and so on.
This of course causes changes. This means group 2 is willing to disband from the people they have currently and join with 1/3 group 1 and 1/3 group 3.
I know there is a problem in karazhan group 1 with punctuality. What is needed to have this mixing of groups work is everyone needs to commit to the time frame. We cannot progress properly when people are hearthing back after a summon to get reagents or finishing up an instance you shouldn't be in at kara start time.
What's going to happen if you are late in this mix of groups is you just won't be invited. We will not wait for you to finish instances and get your reagents. You will be kicked out of the group if that happens.
Also, if you are planning on coming for only an hour don't bother showing up. If you need to go to sleep early or have something planned an hour after kara starts do not show up. Of course there will be times when something comes up that is unexpected but leaving because you are tired is not an excuse that will be accepted. That is the thought I'd like to hear thoughts on this and try to get it going this coming Tuesday.
If anyone is wondering where this is coming from is that alot of people within the guild are becoming tired of being at this exact point. And stuff isn't being addressed or fixed in anyway and it's just taking up time. I know I've talked with alot of people and they feel the same way which was very surprising. However the problem we hit is the odd guy who thinks everything is about him and expects an entire raid to waste their time waiting for them. However a system needs to be compiled in order for us to progress at a reasonable rate.
What we're not saying: - WE DO NOT NEED TO BE THE FIRST GUILD TO DOWN BLACK TEMPLE
What we are saying: - There is NO reason what so ever that as a "CASUAL" guild we cannot progress at a reasonable/fun/appropriate rate.
Yeah nice addition there Pink. That's sorta what I was saying although I don't think I got the point through quite as well as you did but I think this is something that needs to be discussed and agreed upon by the entire 3 kara groups..a meeting needs to be arranged perhaps?..
I think we're past "meetings" **** just needs to be told now. Like there's really no other option. Meeting's just allow people to argue and such and nothing gets done. I think we just need to tell it how it is and what's going to happen.
Kk so basically.... you wanna break up the groups so you can gear us out? that mgiht be good for grp 3 but grp 2 is doing fine... and we all know how we do it and imo... it would be better for g2 to keep doing what they doing
Well the problem is that only some of group 2 is getting geared as things are the hope is that by splitting the groups up there will be a few fully geared in each group so the lesser geared people have a better chance to get the gear needed to progress. Also a chance to get to know the people that you will be raiding with in later instances so you dont overreact to what they say.
Splitting up g-2 won't gear them any faster in most cases. except perhaps in the healing dept(where we have multiple pallies), and we're already pretty well "geared" for the role.
G-3 would be the smartest group for g1 to work with.
Tossing g-2 into a g1/g3 group actually lowers our drop rate. Fill out g3 to our level then we start seeing a reason to join. Untill then, it's not worth it for g-2, nor does it make sense for us progression wise.

I'm totally there. G2 is still working on progression gear. One Prince kill doesn't mean we have the gear for farming the place yet (but we're close).
Havig said that, we're down a spot without omertta this week. I'd love to bring a G1 player for more dps (areal in ret gear? zomg moer palys plz kthxbai).
