This is mainly ment toward endgame with the question of which Weapon Enchant is better (and thus mainly for enchancement shamans).

Windfury is without a doubt our best enchant, however there is a 3 sec silent cooldown everytime it procs so that it cannot chain proc (reguardless of if it proc's off our main or offhand). Thusly WF5/WF5 is a difficult setup to obtain with optimal dps due to the various speeds of weapons currently. You roughly need to find a mainhand around 2.6 (or more) and then a offhand at 2.4 (or more) in order to use double windfury to its true potential. This also helps with our bread and butter move, Stormstrike. Slower weapons mean more top end damage and Stormstrike is essentialy a free hit ignoring weapons speeds.

Aside this if your stuck using the vast amount of quick offhands here is a general guide line. If it is at or close to 1.5 attack speed (before any haste/flurry/etc) You should most likely use Flametongue on the weapon for damage purposes, or perhaps Frostband. If you get near 2.0 try Rockbiter for added damage over the other two.

Now while you may think that Slow Main and Fast Off hands would do more damage (even with the lower dmg enchant due to weapon speed) think about this (and if so inclined speak with Blorand to verify). I was using Runic Hammer MH and Gladiator Offhand, and using WF/FT. I did medicore/ok damage and buffed so people loved me (I swear). When I got The Decapitator off prince and switched it to Main hand and Runic Hammer to Offhand, using WF/WF, on the dps meters (that night alone) I raised in dps substanitally.  Blorand is usually leading in dps for our Kara group, and I went from being 10% or more away from him and jumped (just that night) to within 5%.

WF is truely the only weapon enchant we have which scales with leveling and gear (or perhaps the best one to due so).
